Non-life-threatening injuries reported in Billings apartment shooting

Billings, Montana – An investigation was launched following a shooting on Friday night at the Colonial apartments located on Billings’ South Side.

The incident prompted a significant response from the police after the distress call was received shortly after 6 p.m. The area around 223 S. 27th St. witnessed a considerable law enforcement presence, leading to the temporary closure of the street to ensure public safety and facilitate the investigation.

A 30-year-old man became the victim of this unfortunate event, sustaining a gunshot wound to his forearm. According to authorities, the injuries sustained were determined to be non-life-threatening. The injured man was promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention. However, he was reported to be uncooperative with the authorities conducting the investigation.

Billings police have indicated their intention to release a statement regarding the incident at a later time as the investigation continues to unfold.
