Roadside suspicious devices: Billings police issue warning

Billings, Montana – Police in Billings are alerting drivers about possible explosive devices planted on city streets.

In the last several months, police have reported seven incidences, with the most recent being on Thursday night, according to Lt. Matt Lennick’s post on social media.

Lennick claims that the contraptions are comprised of tinfoil wrapped around an unidentified combustible substance that ignites when trampled.

According to Lennick’s report, there have been no recorded injuries or property damages.

He advised drivers to be cautious of objects in the road and call the police if they saw anything unusual.
